Das Bündnis für Demokratie und Vielfalt trifft sich am Mittwoch, 9. September, um 18.30 Uhr im Café 1680 am Marktplatz in Homburg. Im Fokus steht die Planung einer Veranstaltung zur Langen Nacht der Demokratie am 2. Oktober.
Die Landeshauptstadt Saarbrücken beteiligt sich am Samstag, 20. Juni, erstmals am bundesweiten Tag der Offenen Gesellschaft. Auf dem Gustav-Regler-Platz vor der Stadtbibliothek ist von 11 bis 14 Uhr ein kostenloses Programm für alle Altersgruppen geplant.
Am 23. Mai 2026 wird erstmals bundesweit ein Ehrentag für Engagement und Ehrenamt begangen. Die Stadt Völklingen nimmt mit mehreren Veranstaltungen teil.
Das Saarland beteiligt sich erstmals an der Langen Nacht der Demokratie. Für den 2. Oktober 2026 können Veranstalter ihre Beiträge ab sofort online anmelden.
